As part of CLC World’s Safe Hands initiative, there are a number of resort protocols in place to ensure that your stay with us is both safe and enjoyable.
The resort has been registered by the Junta de Andalucia and Spanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodation (CEHAT) as “safe accommodation”, meaning you can enjoy your holiday with confidence.
For yours and the CLC World team’s safety, all CLC World team members are wearing PPE in accordance with established guidelines and regulations in the hotel industry. CLC World has also installed screens at high contact points around the resort.
Please ensure that you maintain the recommended physical distance between yourself and non-family members at all possible times.

Destination and Resort Safety Protocols
Masks must be worn in certain confined spaces and where the recommended physical distancing cannot be maintained outdoors. CLC World recommends guests have a mask with them at all times during their holiday as entry may be refused to certain establishments without one.
It is compulsory to wear masks on public transport.
Taxis – a maximum of 3 people allowed per standard taxi and 6 in the larger people carrier. Masks must be worn.
CLC World has partnered with Autos Lido, an in-airport Car Hire company. Should Guests wish to hire a car, an appointment must be made online directly with the car hire company or via one of the Receptions once on resort.
Please supply travel details in advance to reduce waiting times.
An additional Reception facility has been opened. Guests will be met outside Reception and asked to check in at the nearest available desk.
Only the lead Member of the party will go to Reception, with all the passports of the group and a valid credit card, to complete the check in process. The remainder of the group will be directed to a waiting area until the check in is completed.
There is no porter service. Luggage will be safely stored in a luggage room until Guests are ready to collect it.
If the apartment is ready at check in, Guests will be given the sanitised room key.
If the apartment is not ready at check in, Guests can make use of the resort whilst the apartment is serviced. Reception will send an SMS message when the apartment is ready.
The apartments are fully equipped with a personal kitchen and a supply of linen and towels.
The apartments will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using approved cleaning products.
Once the apartment has been disinfected there will be a seal on the door to be removed on entry by the guest.
A number of soft furnishing items have been removed to increase hygiene protocol e.g. bed throws, cushions, rugs.
The CLC World grocery welcome pack has been replaced with a hygiene pack.
Currently, mid-week cleans are not available.
A mid-week change of towels or other in-room requirements will be delivered to the door without staff entering.
Remote controls have been sealed in plastic to further enhance hygiene standards.
Please use the rubbish collection and recycling centres around the resort.
Upon departure, place all linen and towels in the bath/shower for collection and leave the unit in as tidy a state as possible to facilitate the changeover before the arrival of the next guests.
Bars & Restaurants
Seating within bars and restaurants is limited. Terrace capacity has been increased where possible to maximise the number of places available.
Tables and chairs will be sanitised between users. Please wait to be seated.
El Rancho is offering a breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
Tables con be booked directly by calling El Rancho. A table reservation is recommended.
Guests must remain seated and not approach or stand at the bar or service counters.
Menus are disposable and will be replaced after each usage. In addition, QR codes will provide access to digital menus.
A full takeaway service is available for those who prefer to eat in their own apartment or where there is no space available in the restaurant or bar.
Guests are encouraged to use contactless payment or room charging to limit the use of cash on resort.
There is no live evening entertainment during the initial opening period.
Sam’s Pantry will be open from 9am to 5pm daily.
Communal Areas (incl. pools)
CLC World maintenance and cleaning teams ensure communal areas are regularly cleaned and disinfected using approved chemicals.
Areas of high contact are sprayed and disinfected frequently by the CLC World team.
Hand sanitisers/gels are available throughout the resort. Guests are encouraged to wash hands regularly with soap and use the hand sanitisers/gels.
Currently, the Resort Train isn’t operational as physical distancing between families cannot be guaranteed.
Sunbeds & Pools
Pool areas including sunbeds fixtures and fittings will be sanitised daily. Guests will be required to sanitise their own sunbed prior to use.
Currently, capacity of the swimming pool areas is restricted to 50%. Guests are encouraged to swim, and then return to private terraces should there be no sunbed available at the poolside.
Excursions & Activities
Excursions and activities are constantly reviewed. Up-to-date information on what is available can be found on Team Marina notice boards in resort and on Your Guide.
Activities and excursions can be booked through Concierge at Reception.
The Kids Club is currently closed.
Currently, parent-led activities are: Tennis, Table Tennis, Pool Table, Jogging routes and board games. Equipment is sanitised between users.
Check out is 10am on the day of departure.
Guests are encouraged to settle the bill the night prior to departure. Reception can take card payments over the phone and provide a copy of the bill via email.
If Guests are required to move apartments during a multiple week stay, please pack belongings and once invited to, move to the new apartment.
Access to a luggage room can be organised for Guests via Reception.
Currently, there is no shared courtesy room facility.
Travel to Spain
Below you will find entry requirements for Spain. They are applicable to all visitors to Spain in addition to the regular requirements of passport/National ID etc, provided there is an agreement between Spain and the country of departure. Further information is available at Spanish Travel Health portal and your government’s website.
Entry to Spain
The State of Emergency (“Estado de Alarma”) ended on 21 June. Spain’s borders are now open to European Union and Schengen-area countries.
Restrictions on travellers from outside the European Union and the Schengen free-travel area were lifted from 1 July, providing the countries they depart from have agreements with Spain.
You must wear a mask at all times in public spaces. This applies to all persons aged 6 and over. Penalties may be imposed if you do not comply.
Testing/screening on arrival
There are three requirements for entry into Spain. You must:
Provide the Spanish Ministry of Health with contact information and any history of exposure to COVID-19, 48 hours prior to travel. You can do this on the Spain Travel Health website or downloadable app. It is mandatory for all passengers travelling to Spain to fill out and sign the online form associated with your trip, regardless of your nationality or residency status. On completion, you will be issued a personal and non-transferable QR code which you must show (electronically or hardcopy) at airport health controls on arrival.
Have your temperature checked.
Undergo a visual health assessment.
Anyone who presents symptoms or fails one of the above requirements will be seen by a health professional.
Inter-regional travel is permitted throughout Spain, though there are a few instances of localised lockdowns. If travelling with people who are not from the same household, all passengers must wear a face mask covering the nose and mouth. Penalties may be imposed if you do not comply.
