CLC World’s “Best Breakfasts” bring home the bacon!

CLC Trenython Manor and CLC Duchally Country Estate raised over £2,000 for the Carer’s Trust with special breakfasts during October 2016 as part of the charity’s Britain’s Best Breakfast campaign.

Guests at Trenython Manor, Cornwall, were tempted with a “breakfast bap and swim”, and in addition, staff baked an array of delicious cakes which raised a further £151 for the cause. At Duchally Country Estate, guests and visitors savoured a full Scottish breakfast made with local produce.

The Carer’s Trust Britain’s Best Breakfast campaign is held every October to raise awareness of the seven million unpaid carers in Britain. Graham Wilding, UK Operations Director, said:

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our guests, and people who came out in Cornwall and Perthshire for a breakfast all in the name of a good cause. We are thrilled to have raised money for the Carer’s Trust Britain’s Best Breakfast campaign. As a hospitality business, it is a natural fit to support a charity that focuses on the wellbeing of those who care for others.”
