Are you looking forward to a trip to Orlando in 2021? The top-trending US destination has great new theme park rides, exciting restaurants and, of course, increased health and sanitisation measures in place. Of course, the best self-catering, resort accommodation is to be found at CLC World’s Orlando resorts: CLC Regal Oaks and CLC Encantada.

Let’s take a look at what’s new in Orlando in 2021.

At the theme parks

Jurassic World VelociCoaster

Coming to Universal’s Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando Resort on June 10, 2021, this monster of a ride has more than 4,700 feet of track. Roaring along at up to 70mph and more than 150 feet in the air, you’ll be rising Florida’s longest and tallest launch coaster.

There are including two pulse-pounding launches: a one-of-a-kind, 360-degree barrel roll; a zero-gravity inverted stall; and going airborne during the towering “Top Hat,” propelling you 155 feet in the air before an 80-degree drop.

Ice Breaker

SeaWorld Orlando’s first launch coaster should open in 2021. Featuring four airtime-filled launches, both backwards and forwards, the ride culminates in a reverse launch into the steepest beyond-vertical drop in Florida… a 93-foot-tall spike with a 100-degree angle! Hold onto your tummies!
