One of Spain’s most recent traditions, El Embrujo Andalusi, is fused with the roots of the Al-Andalus. This festival, located in Carratraca Malaga, offers the chance to immerse yourself into a time when two very different cultures coexisted. It starts in the afternoon and takes place on the 8th, 9th and 10th of September.

A blend of cultures

The event was created to celebrate the cultural Andalusí legacy by remembering the coexistence that lasted various centuries, and infuse the visitor with the past. You will be able to experience life as it was, all under the glow of candles and the moon.

A night of enchantment

The dancing, Andalusí music and flamenco give the night a magical appearance, illuminated by 25,000 candles. The name of the festival translated from Spanish means “Festival of the bewitchment of the Moor Moon”. Your night will not only be fun and filled with colour and music, but will feel almost otherworldly.

Dancing to the rhythm

The music will float in the air and make you want to dance, throw your head back and revel in its glory, with Muslim, Sephardi and contemporary Andalusian music fusing together and creating an amazing and unique environment. There will be music by The Symphonic Orchestra of Malaga, Aurora Vargas, Antonio Cajales and so much more.

For all the family

This event offers many workshops for kids, with storytellers, games and so many fun things to do (even the parents might want to join), so the whole family can enjoy a wonderful night out.

This is the perfect outing for individuals and groups of friends. After which you can return to one of our many resorts in the Costa del Sol and drift to a happy sleep. Click here for more information.
