With its warm tropical climate, the Island of Eternal Spring is the ideal location for taking to the water – and sometimes above it – whatever the time of year. So if you’re staying at one of CLC World’s six Tenerife resorts why not give one of them a go!

1. Kite Surfing

An exhilarating ride over the waves offers breathtaking views of Tenerife’s coastline and out to sea. Glide out with the sun and salty water caressing your skin before you defy gravity above the surf. You feel like you’re flying – and there’s almost nothing that can beat that!

2. Dolphins and Whale Watching

From mini-expeditions to safaris, the south-west coast of Tenerife offers excellent opportunities to watch whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. There are resident pods of bottlenose dolphins and pilot whales and depending on the season up to 21 different species of these beautiful creatures pass between Tenerife and La Gomera.

3. Jet-skiing

For a surge of adrenaline why not take to the water on a jet ski. Explore the less-visited coves and beaches of the island. The choice of an hour long trip or a full day safari awaits those who want to take a little more control over how they ride the ocean waves.
